This Week's Selection
About the House
David Duggan began dealing in fine watches in 1976, and since 2002 the house has been at home in the Burlington Arcade, one of the world's great shopping arcades and a fitting address for a business built on quiet discretion and considered taste.
Our collection is curated rather than catalogued. Every watch we offer has been personally examined, authenticated, and deemed worthy of a place under the arcade roof.
The Workshop
Across twenty-four years in the arcade, the house has invested continually in its own workshop, the quiet room above the showroom where every judgement is made.
It is led by our senior watchmaker, who joined in March 2003 after eight years at Patek Philippe and four at Cartier. Within the trade he is regarded as among the finest hands for the servicing of Patek Philippe, Rolex, Vacheron Constantin, and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Every watch offered to the house is inspected by our watchmaker before any offer is made. If it does not satisfy him, it is not bought.
Every watch is tested and serviced by him before it takes its place in the front window. What you see has already been through his hands.
Every piece examined and certified.
Full mechanical warranty as standard.
Fine timepieces accepted at fair valuations.
Fully insured, discreet UK delivery.
Our Heritage
The house has never sought recognition for its own sake. What follows is simply the record of a business that chose, at every juncture, integrity over volume.
David starts buying fine watches directly from the public, a dealer's education no showroom can teach, and the foundation of everything that followed.
On 1 December 1989 the first shop opens in Mayfair. The New Bond Street address serves the house for nearly two decades.
On 1 October 2002 the house takes its place beneath the regency arches, the showroom that remains its home to this day.
Our senior watchmaker joins in March 2003, after eight years at Patek Philippe and four at Cartier, and the in-house workshop begins in earnest.
